Acting I: Think up a scene that might start with "OOoo, I have a bad feeling about this..." and end up with "Wow, wow, wow! Thank you! I can't believe all these wonderful things are happening to me!" While you're working on it, think of the W's.... Who are you? Where are you? What are you doing? What do you want? Why do you want it? What do you have to do to get it?
Act II: Write up a scene using four methods of persuasion in this order: Ask, Plead, Bribe, Threaten. Make sure that what you want is significant enough to have some high stakes involved. Almost life and death important.
